Jacquelyn F. Glass

August 1, 1932 — January 27, 2023

Jacquelyn Glass of Wrentham, MA, previously of North Attleboro, MA and Foxboro, MA passed away peacefully at the age of 90 on January 27th, 2023 at Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Home. Jacquelyn was born August 1, 1932 to the late George D. Fauls and the late Elizabeth (Lichliter) Fauls of Harrisonburg, Virginia.
Jackie grew up in Harrisonburg, graduating from Harrisonburg High School. From there, she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Madison College and was a part of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority. Jackie taught elementary school for several years in Virginia, New York, and in Foxboro, Massachusetts, at the Paine School before leaving her cherished teaching career to begin raising her family.
While teaching in Danville, Virginia, she met her beloved future husband, Robert M. Glass, at a rooming house cafeteria, near where they both lived. They were married on July 7, 1956 in Harrisonburg and celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary shortly before Robert's passing in 2017.
As their children grew older, she worked as a sales representative for Avon for nine years, where she found much success selling products to local women. She earned many sales awards, including the prestigious President's Club Award.
Jackie was also an active member of the Central Congregational Church in North Attleboro, Massachusetts. Beginning in 1977, she taught Sunday school, became the Superintendent of the Sunday school program, served as a Deacon of the church, and later received the honor of becoming the church's Deacon Emeritus. She also served as the Moderator of the church and participated in the search committees for both church minister and music director.
In 1991, Jackie became a "Gigi" for the first time and throughout the next 19 years, six more grandchildren followed. She was so proud of each and every one. Always a teacher at heart, there was nothing that she loved more than to be able to share her love of reading by spending time reading books with them. In 2022, she was thrilled to share in the excitement of her first great grandchild who shares her name.
Sunday afternoons during football season you could always find Jackie watching the Patriots play. She was an ardent fan who followed them since they first started playing in Foxboro.
Jackie leaves behind her daughter, Melissa A. Glass, of North Attleboro, two sons: Mark C. Glass of Texas, and Robert D. Glass and his wife Wendy, of Norton. She leaves behind her seven grandchildren: Jillian E. Georgio, Ryan R. Boraski, James J. , Hannah M. , Robert L. , Riley E., and Cayden M. Glass. She also leaves her great granddaughter, Liliana J. Georgio. Jackie is survived by her sister, Sally Derflinger of North Carolina, and her cousin Charles Cline and his wife Kitty of Virginia.
