Jacqueline Gabrielle Marie Louise Gow

Jacqueline Gow, 87, of North Attleboro, MA, peacefully went to be with the Lord surrounded by her family on Wednesday, October 21, 2015. Born on January 1, 1928 in Marseille, France, she was the daughter of Andre? and Simone Roux. Jacqueline was raised and educated in France and upon her marriage to Peter Gow, came to the United States in 1952, moving to the Attleboro area where she raised her family. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Peter Gow. She is survived by her beloved children: Tracey (Gow) Petrozzi and her husband, Mark, of Gilford, NH; Lauren M. (Gow) Noble of North Attleboro, MA; and Scott A. Gow and his wife Linda of Sanger, CA. She was the grandmother of eight grandchildren, Kathryn and her husband Robert, Philip, Rachel, Adam and his wife Alycia, Heather, Alyssa, Melissa and Mark, nine great-grandchildren, Haley, Andrew, Landon, Colton, Raelynn, Dawson and Camden (due in January), Cambria and Emily, and Emily Zambruskie, her adopted granddaughter. She was the sister of Francoise Zmiro; Nicole Vigier; and Alain Roux, and the late Michelle Chabriere and Daniel Roux, all of France. Jacqueline leaves many nieces and nephews, dear friends and her two cats. Above all else, Jacqueline was a uniquely special and wonderful mother and grandmother who adored her family and many friends. She delighted in baking, cooking, knitting and crafts, including doll making. She enjoyed collecting stamps and the pleasure of listening to classical music. Jacqueline was active in a variety of organizations throughout her life including the Girl Scouts, working with the North Attleboro Veterans and Native American Indians. Jacqueline wanted to express to her family and friends that, most importantly, she loved and was loved. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Sunday, October 25, 2015 from 3:00 to 4:00 PM, with a Celebration of Life service immediately following at 4:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, North Attleboro. Burial services will be privately held.
