Isabelle B. (Long) Maisch, 90, formerly of Chestnut Street, Foxboro, died at the Royal of Fairhaven in Fairhaven, Massachusetts where she had been a resident since December 22, 2010. She was the wife of the late William Maisch who died in 1990. Born in Attleboro, Massachusetts on March 16, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Arthur E. and Nettie L. (Stoddard) Long. She was a graduate of Attleboro High School and the Pondville State Hospital School for Practical Nurses on November 7, 1956. She was a 1940 graduate of Northeast Bible College in North Bergen, New Jersey in 1940. Mrs. Maisch worked at the Pondville State Hospital for 20 years and had also been employed at Hessco in Wrentham for many years. Prior to moving to Fairhaven, Mrs. Maisch was a resident of Foxboro for more than 35 years and was a former resident of Mansfield and Attleboro. A woman of strong religious beliefs, Mrs. Maisch was a longtime member of the Assembly of God in South Attleboro where she served for more than 20 years as the Superintendent of the Sunday school program. In earlier years, she led the "Girl Guide" program at Assembly of God. She enjoyed times spent with her dear friends at both the Foxboro and Wrentham Senior Centers. Her family recalls with fondness her willingness to serve as a caregiver to family members in need. Prior to the passing of her husband, Mrs. Maisch cherished traveling around the United States. She leaves a sister: Olive L. Hawkes of Belchertown, Massachusetts; Gertrude I. Ireland of Pawtucket, Rhode Island; three generations of nieces and nephews and extended family members and dear friends. She was the sister of the late Paul E. Long, Emma M. Wagner, Harley H. Long and Arthur Long. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Sunday, November 25, 2012 from 3:00 - 5:00 PM in the "Commonwealth Chapel" of Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.
