Irene M. Bellavance

Irene M. Bellavance, 91, of North Attleboro, MA passed away on January 23, 2025, at Madonna Manor in North Attleboro, MA. She was the wife of the late Norman Joseph Bellavance to whom she was married for 59 years prior to his death.
Born in Central Falls, Rhode Island on April 9, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Theodore J. Viau and the late Marie C. (Deragon) Barrette. She was the stepdaughter of the late Oscar Barrette.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a packing clerk for the Robbin’s Company.
Her favorite pastimes included gardening and cultivating flowers, playing Solitaire, watching television and times spent creating memories at the family summer cottage in West Barrington, Rhode Island.
She leaves her daughter: Kim M. Robinson and her companion, Tony Lameiras, of Attleboro, MA; her grandson:
Ryan E. Robinson and his girlfriend, Ashley Corbett, of Attleboro, MA; her sister: Barbara Griswold and her husband, Bill Griswold, of Seekonk, MA and several nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Wayne Thomas Bellavance; mother-in-law of the late David “Rab” E. Robinson, Jr. and was the sister of the late Albert Viau and his late wife, Peggy, and the late Claire Viau and Blanche Sulham.
Services will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 12:45 pm at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Avenue, Bourne, MA and then she will be reunited with her late husband.
For those unable to attend the memorial, you may join the family for a Celebration of Life on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at the American Legion - Post 213, 437 Newport Avenue, South Attleboro, MA from 2:30 until 5:30 pm.
