Ian James Catherwood

Ian James Catherwood, 27, of South Main Street, Mansfield, MA, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 18, 2015 at his home. He was the beloved long-time best friend and soul mate of Anne Marie Schafer.  Born on November 23, 1988 in Boston, MA, he was the dedicated son of James Edward Catherwood and Lorinda (Warrick) Catherwood. A lifelong resident of Mansfield, MA, Ian graduated from Mansfield High School, Class of 2007. Ian was a devoted father to his daughter, Lillian Isabelle Catherwood, and a proud brother to his sister, Heather Caryn Catherwood. Ian is survived by his life partner, Anne; his parents; his sister, Heather; his six-month old daughter, Lillian; and his extended family. Visitation has respectfully been omitted. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service for Ian on Monday, December 28, 2015 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at The Farmer's Daughter, 122 Main Street, Easton, MA 02356.
