I. Marie Augat, 90, of East Washington Street, North Attleboro, died on Friday, March 20, 2015 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was the wife of the late Charles W. Augat and the late James F. Josselyn. Born in Boston, MA on November 6, 1924, she was a daughter of the late William J. and Marie C. (McAvoy) Wilson. Raised and educated in Boston she was a graduate of the former Dorchester High School for Girls. She resided in Wrentham for 11 years prior to moving to North Attleboro more than 45 years ago. Mrs. Augat was employed as an executive secretary at the former Attleboro Savings Bank for 11 years prior to her retirement in 1986. She will be lovingly remembered for her grace, style, flare for fashion and elegance. Mrs. Augat was a member of the AARP and the Hockomock Area YMCA Live Y'ers and attended Central Congregational Church in Attleboro Falls. She was always ready to greet you with a hug and a big smile. Mrs. Augat enjoyed taking many bus trips with the Plainville Council on Aging. She leaves extended family members. Visitation respectfully omitted. A private graveside service will be held at Central Cemetery, Halifax with burial to follow.
