Hoa Ngoc Van, 59, of County Street, Attleboro, MA, peacefully passed away on Friday, October 16, 2015 at the Seasons Hospice Inpatient Unit in Milton, MA. She was the beloved wife of Thanh To Lam, to whom she was married on December 7, 1980. Born in Vietnam on January 16, 1956, she was the daughter of Khanh Van and Hai (Luu) Van. A resident of Attleboro since 1990, she previously resided in Warwick, RI. Hoa received her education in Vietnam and after moving to the United States, she worked for more than thirty years as an Assembler at Polymet in North Attleboro, MA. She loved and adored her family, took great pride in her home and, very important to her was the peace, purpose and mindfulness she found at the Hue Lam Meditation Temple in Fitchburg, MA. In addition to her husband, Hoa is survived by her two treasured sons: John T. Lam and Michael T. Lam, both of Attleboro, MA. She was the sister of Son Van, Minh Van, Van Van, and Lien Van, and leaves several nieces and nephews, her extended family, and dear friends. Private Visitation and Funeral Services, both with Buddhist rituals, will be held at Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, North Attleboro. Burial services will be privately held at North Purchase Cemetery in Attleboro, MA.
