Hildred Florence Bessey

Hildred Florence Bessey , 88, of North Attleboro, passed away at Madonna Manor in North Attleboro on Saturday, March 29, 2014. Born in Detroit, Michigan on February 23, 1926, she was the daughter of the late James Earl and Marguerite Hanson (Sellers) Bessey. Hildred was a graduate of Detroit Bedford High School, Class of 1944. In the early years of her career, Ms. Bessey was employed as a telephone operator for the Michigan Bell Telephone Co., she then owned and operated her own home cleaning business for many years. Hildred loved to re-upholster furniture and enjoyed the outdoors with her gardening. Ms. Bessey is survived by her son: John Marc Bourget and his wife, Susan A. (Freeman) Bourget of North Attleboro; three grandchildren: Stephen, Isabel and Thomas J. Bourget, all of North Attleboro. She was the sister of the late James Bessey. Per request of the family, services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ms. Bessey's memory to a charity of one's choice.
