Herbert Richard Bosley

Herbert Richard Bosley, 75, of East Street, North Attleboro, died on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. He was the husband of the late Joyce Rita (Kleinberg) Bosley to whom he was married on November 18, 1977 and who died on May 22, 2004. Born in Hillsboro, New Hampshire on January 28, 1937, he was a son of the late Alton R. and Hazel (Chase) Bosley. Born and raised in the Hillsboro and Peterborough areas, Mr. Bosley then moved to Massachusetts and had resided in North Attleboro for the past 17 years having moved there from neighboring Attleboro. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Bosley worked for almost 20 years for Engelhard Industries in Plainville as a maintenance department employee. He was a former member and Eucharistic minister at All Saints Episcopal Church in Attleboro and more recently attended the First Baptist Church of North Attleboro. He was a member of the Red Men and was a volunteer at the North Attleboro Senior Center where he would also enjoy playing pool with his friends. His favorite pastimes included bowling, playing bingo, camping with his family and round and square dancing. He leaves two children: Malinda Mendonca of New Bedford; Erick Bosley of Wareham; two stepsons: Mark Hanscom of Attleboro and Jay Hanscom of Attleboro; two step grandchildren: Kyle and Travis Hanscom both of Attleboro; three sisters: Ruby L. Brough of North Attleboro; Ida Athanasion of Kingman, Arizona and Dora Ruble of Berlin, New Hampshire; an aunt: Alice Mason of Lakeland, Florida and extended family members including several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Visitation has been respectfully omitted. Funeral services and burial will be conducted privately.
