Henry Alfred Dulude, 91, of Seekonk, MA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at the Madonna Manor Nursing Home in North Attleboro. He was the beloved husband of the late Rhoda Mae (Buchanan) Dulude whom he married on November 17, 1951.
Born on June 10, 1928 in Rehoboth, MA, he was the son of the late Charles Dulude and the late Delia (St. Martin) Dulude.
Raised and educated in Attleboro, MA, where he lived most of his life before moving to St. Augustine, FL, he then returned to Attleboro.
He attended Attleboro High School. Henry honorably served our country first in the Merchant Marines and then as a Communications Specialist in United States Air Force during World War II, having witnessed the dropping of the atomic bomb in the South Pacific.
Henry proudly worked for Larson Tool & Stamping in Attleboro for five years and for many years as a self-employed Carpenter before retiring in 1987.
The love of Henry's life was his wife, Rhoda, and he cherished the time they spent together and with their family. He was a skilled and avid duck pin bowler, having received countless awards and trophies and at one time achieving the rank of #2 in New England. He was also an ardent reader.
He was the loving father of Vicki-Lynne Dulude of Seekonk, with whom he resided; Charles D. Dulude of St. Augustine, FL, and the late Debra A. Milot. He was the proud grandfather of Donna L. Dumas of North Providence, RI; Laura J. Dumas of Harrisville, RI; and the late William C. Dumas; and the adoring great-grandfather of Magnus L. Malo and Max L.A. Malo of Harrisville, RI, and Alexander C. Triangolo of North Providence, RI. Henry was the brother of William Dulude of Canaan, VT, the late Charles R. Dulude, and the late Josephine Gousie. He leaves several nieces and nephews, his extended family, and many dear friends.
Visitation has respectfully been omitted.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date and time to be announced.
Burial will be private in North Purchase Cemetery, Attleboro.
