Henry C. Beecher, 75, of North Attleboro, passed away on January 19, 2014 at Golden Living-Garden Place in Attleboro. He was the husband of Janis A. (Alves) Beecher to whom he married on January 28, 1984. Born in Providence, RI on February 21, 1938, he was the son of the late Harry and Cecilia (Richer) Beecher. Mr. Beecher was a graduate of Hope High School, Class of 1953. He moved from Cranston, RI to North Attleboro thirty years ago and was a member of St. Mark's Church in Attleboro Falls. Mr. Beecher was employed as an Account Manager at Factory Mutual Insurance Company in Johnston, RI for many years and Arthur J. Gallagher and Company in Quincy for thirty years prior to his retirement in 2006. Henry loved to travel to his favorite destination: Nova Scotia, Canada. He also was an avid sports fan and enjoyed spending time by his pool. Family was very important to him as Beecher family camping trips were a yearly event. In addition to his wife of thirty-one years; Mr. Beecher is survived by five children: Henry C. Beecher of California, Jeffrey A. Beecher of New Hampshire, Deborah A. Beecher of Cranston, RI, Leah M. Moore of Baltimore, MD, Cathy L. Eisa of Jordan; two stepchildren: Lynne M. Brown of South Attleboro, Peter G. Brown of Attleboro; three sisters: Mary O'Brien of Lawrence, Celia Weigold of Jamestown, RI, Clare Baffoni of Narragansett, RI. He also leaves twelve grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
