Helen F. (Nauss) Dailey, 86, of Plainville, MA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Garden Place Health Care in Attleboro, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Gerard Dailey, to whom she was married on June 19, 1954.Born on May 21, 1931 in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Mildred (Connolly) Nauss.A resident of Plainville for the past eighteen years, Helen previously lived in North Attleboro and West Roxbury, MA. She was a member of St. Martha Catholic Church in Plainville, MA.Helen cherished her family above all, and was a loving and supportive wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. More than anything else in her life, she treasured spending time at home and in the company of her family.She is survived by her children: Debra A. (Dailey) Salerno and her husband, Harry E. Salerno, of Manomet, MA; Linda J. (Dailey) Maloney and her husband, Michael R. Maloney, of Plainville, MA; and Carol A. (Dailey) Lawler and her husband, Thomas P. Lawler, of Plainville, MA. She was the proud and adoring grandmother of twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Helen was the sister of Arthur Nauss of Medway, MA, and was predeceased by her siblings: Lillian Russo, Doris Daly, Alice Creedon, George Nauss, and Carol Quinn. She leaves numerous nieces and nephews.Friends and family are cordially invited to honor and remember Helen by gathering for a Visitation on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Martha Catholic Church, 227 South Street, Route 1A, Plainville, MA.Burial will be in Shepardville Cemetery, Plainville, MA at a date and time to be announced.A Children's Room is available during the visitation.
