Harriet S. (Shomes) Warsofsky, 88, of North Attleboro, MA and more recently of Wrentham, MA passed away on January 29, 2026, the Alliance at the Maples in Wrentham, MA. She was the wife of the late George M. Warsofsky to whom she was married on December 20, 1959, and who died on March 15, 2018.
Born in Boston, MA on July 13, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Morris Shomes and the late Minnie (Azer) Shomes.
She was employed as an accounts payable clerk at Talbots .
Mrs. Warsofsky was a resident of North Attleboro since 2009, having previously resided in Brockton, MA.
Harriet loved being with her family, especially cherishing the time spent with her grandchildren and attending their sporting events.
She enjoyed playing bingo and mahjong. As a resident of 22 South Washington in North Attleboro, MA, she previously served as President of the Resident Council.
She leaves her children: Mark R. Warsofsky and his wife, Dawn M. (Clark) Warsofsky, of Marshfield, MA and Howard E. Warsofsky and his wife, Sheri A. (Simpson) Warsofsky, of North Attleboro, MA; her grandchildren: Adam Warsofsky and his wife, Stacey (Hickman) Warsofsky, Jarod Warsofsky and his wife, Katie (Magee) Warsofsky, Ryan Warsofsky and his wife, Caroline (Oddo) Warsofsky, David Warsofsky and his wife, Annie (Tooley) Warsofsky, Matthew Warsofsky and his partner Lillie Zate, Alexander Warsofsky, Jacob Warsofsky and his partner, Ava Belanger, and Evan Warsofsky; eleven great grandchildren: Kaden, Chase, Reese, Scarlett, Harleigh, Lucy, Cal, Dayne, Pippa, Nash and Christian.
She was the sister of the late Alfred Shomes.
Friends and family are cordially invited to attend a Funeral Service on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 12:00 noon in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, immediately followed by a Graveside Service in Mount Hope Cemetery and Arboretum, Attleboro Falls.
Following the funeral services, an invitation will be extended to join the family for a time of fellowship and refreshments at a location to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Activities Fund, Maples Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, 90 Taunton St., Wrentham, MA 02093.
