Arlene Ellis, 95, of the Rumford section of East Providence, Rhode Island, formerly of North Attleboro, MA and Attleboro, MA, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023 at Rhode Island Hospital following a fall at her residence.
Born in Oakland, California on December 22, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Frank Martin and the late Anne (Vlazny) Martin.
She was employed as a data entry operator for the Jeweled Cross Company in North Attleboro and retired following 20 years of service. She then continued to work part-time at the Christmas Tree Shop in North Attleboro until the age of 85.
Arlene celebrated her faith at the Apostolic Temple United Pentecostal Church, Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
She leaves her two loving sons: Michael R. Ellis and his wife, Michelle Ellis, of North Attleboro, MA and Wade S. Ellis of Baltimore, Maryland; a grandson in Germany; her siblings: Don Martin of Westlake Village, California and Ann Dent of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Arlene was the wife of the late Harold R. Ellis.
Visitation has been respectfully omitted.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service on Friday, February 10, 2023, at 10:00 a.m.in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, it was Arlene's wish that memorial donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
