Gregory P. Corbett, Sr.

Gregory P. Corbett, 65, of Knight Avenue, Attleboro, passed away at his home on Thursday, June 25, 2015. Born in Attleboro on December 31, 1949, he was a son of the late Albert H. and Gladys Marion (Carpenter) Corbett. Gregory was employed for many years by Houle's City Cab in Attleboro as a taxi cab driver before retiring. He loved NASCAR, delighted in watching football and hockey, and will always be remembered for the love and joy he had for his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Gregory is survived by his cherished daughters; Stacey A. Shockroo, and her husband Robert H. Shockroo, of Attleboro; Kristen E. Perry, and her husband Doug Perry, of NH; and Lee-Ann Corbett of Taunton; his beloved sons, Gregory P. Corbett, Jr. of NH, and Rick C. Corbett, and his wife Kristy L. Corbett, of Riverside, RI; his dear brother, Doug Corbett; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; several loving nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. Gregory is predeceased by his brother Ted Corbett. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Monday, July 6, 2015 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.
