Grace Maria Trudeau

Grace Maria (Palmer) Trudeau, 87, of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 18, 2020 surrounded by her family at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis L. Trudeau whom she married on May 23, 1997 and who died on November 10, 2011.
Born on August 21, 1932 in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late William Palmer Sr. and the late Olga Victoria (Swinson) Palmer.
Grace received her Master's degree in Women's Studies from the University of Massachusetts at Boston.
She treasured living in Attleboro Falls for the past ten years, having previously lived for many years in South Boston.
Grace was a woman of strong faith and attended Transfiguration of the Lord Parish - St. Mary for many years. She truly loved life and enjoyed flowers and visiting bazaars and yard sales. More than anything, she cherished spending time with family and friends.
She was the loving mother of Kathleen M. (Trudeau) McCarthy and her husband, Dennis, of Attleboro Falls; Grace F. (Trudeau) McCormick of Hanover, MA; Albert P. McCormick of Jamaica Plain, MA; and Robert J. McCormick of Attleboro Falls. Grace was the proud and adoring grandmother of nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Charles Palmer, William Palmer Jr., Francis Palmer, James Palmer, and Ruth Cayford Wallingford. She leaves several nieces and nephews, her extended family, and many dear friends.
A Private Visitation will be held for Grace on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
Private Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 in St. Mary's Cemetery, Attleboro Falls.
As an expression of sympathy or in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Grace to the American Cancer Society, 3 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
