Grace Mary (Lincoln) Dorr, 94, of Broadway, North Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Sturdy Hospital in Attleboro, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert E. Dorr, Sr. to whom she was married in 1953 and who died on June 6, 1998.
Born on September 23, 1931, in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late Philip W. and Pauline (Gorman) Lincoln. Mrs. Dorr was a graduate of Sacred Hearts Academy of Fall River and Mrs. Dorr attended Byrant & Stratton Commercial School in Providence, RI. She was raised and educated in her native community of Seekonk and moved to Taunton along with her husband to raise a family.
Mrs. Dorr was owner of the former P.W. Lincoln Horse Transportation, retiring from there in 1981. She then, with her husband, went on to establish R.E. Dorr Properties developing commercial and residential properties in the area.
Mrs. Dorr leaves three children: Robert E. Dorr, II; Sharon E. (Dorr) Hamilton, and Helen M. (Dorr) Hebert, and her husband, Steve E. Hebert, all North Attleboro, MA. Mrs. Dorr also leaves one brother, Robert W. Lincoln of North Attleboro, MA. Mrs. Dorr leaves four grandchildren: Rober E. Dorr III; Erica Hagerty and her husband, Seth Hagerty; Steven A. Hebert and his wife, Nicole Hebert; and Gregory P. Hebert and his wife, Laura Hebert. Mrs. Dorr also leaves seven great-grandchildren: Mckenzie Hagerty; Riley Hagerty, Baily Hagerty, Nathan Hebert, Ella-Grace Hebert, Boden Hebert, and Emmeline Hebert
Friends and family are cordially invited to honor and remember Mrs. Dorr by gathering for a Visitation on Tuesday. October 21, 2025 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend the Funeral Service on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 10:00 am in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, North Attleboro.
Burial services will immediately follow at St. Stephen’s Cemetery, 683 S. Main St., Attleboro, MA, at which time she will be laid to rest alongside her dear late husband Robert.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the memory of Mrs. Dorr to Boston Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
