Gloria Constance (Brodeur) Robinson, 93, passed away peacefully February 9, 2016 at the Royal Cape Cod Nursing home in Buzzards Bay, MA. She was predeceased by the love of her life, Donald Robinson, to whom she was married for 70 years.Gloria was born and raised in Brockton, MA, and was very proud to have worked for many years at New England Telephone, first as an Operator then rising to an Instructor. In 1963 she and Donald started a real estate and insurance agency in Attleboro, MA. They ran this together until they retired to Cape Cod in 1975 where they enjoyed golf and fishing on their boat the 'Don-Glo'. Gloria could 'smell the fish' so well that their catches were legendary around Sesuit Harbor. They then moved to Florida where they spent many happy years in Port Charlotte and Jacksonville.Gloria is survived by her son, Gregg Robinson and his wife, Marie, of North Attleboro, MA; her daughter Sherry Greelish and her husband, Jack, of Cotuit, MA; and her daughter-in-law Sally Robinson of Jacksonville, FL. She was predeceased by her other son, Bruce Robinson of Jacksonville, FL. She is also survived by six grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.The family would like to thank the staff of the Royal Cape Cod Nursing home for their loving care over the last few years.
