Gloria G. Lovell

Gloria G. (Thurston) Lovell, 88, of Park Street, Attleboro, died on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the Life Care Center of Attleboro following a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late William F. Lovell who died on January 23, 1973. Born in Cayuga, Ontario, Canada on August 8, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Letitia Thurston. She was raised and educated in her native Canada and immigrated to the United States having settled in Rhode Island where she lived briefly prior to moving to the City of Attleboro in 1956. She was a dedicated and devoted homemaker to her family. Mrs. Lovell was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Attleboro. She leaves three children: Gregory W. Lovell of Hyde Park; Michael T. Lovell of Reno, Nevada and Lynne Ann Alberg of Newport, Rhode Island; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren and siblings whom remained in Canada. She was the mother of the late Kevin A. Lovell who died in 2003. Visitation is respectfully omitted. Funeral services will be private. Mrs. Lovell will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband in Guelph, Ontario, Canada.
