Gloria C. (Pinsoneault) Bonneau, 91, of Taunton Street, Wrentham; formerly of Christopher Heights, South Main Street, Attleboro; Sandcastle Estates, South Attleboro and Cumberland Avenue, North Attleboro; died on Sunday, August 25, 2013 at the Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Wrentham where she had been a longtime resident. She was the beloved wife of the late Norman J. Bonneau to whom she was married on October 12, 1946 and died on March 23, 2006. Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on April 20, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Elizabeth (Garland) Pinsoneault. She was raised and educated in her native city of Pawtucket, Rhode Island. She later attended the former Bryant and Stratton College, later Bryant College and now Bryant University. Mrs. Bonneau proudly served her country by enlisting in the United States Navy during the World War II era and was stationed in St. Louis, Missouri during her military tenure. She was employed in numerous administrative roles during her professional career and retired following several years of service to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts - Division of Unemployment in Attleboro. Over the years she was a communicant of St. Mark Roman Catholic Church in the Village of Attleboro Falls and St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Church, South Attleboro. Her favorite pastimes included solving crossword puzzles and word games but she was happiest creating lifelong memories for her family to cherish. She leaves two daughters: Linda A. Corrigan and her husband, Ronald B. Corrigan, of The Villages, Florida, formerly of North Attleboro and Debra Pierce of Claremont, New Hampshire; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; two sisters: Rita Hemond of Lancaster, California and Joan Microulis of Pawtucket, Rhode Island and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Norma J. Sheehan who died in 1975 and was the sister of the late Norman Pinsoneault, Evelyn Richard and Dorothea Beaumont. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Thursday, August 29, 2013 from 5:00 - 6:45 PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Richard Wilson, St. John the Evangelist Church, Attleboro, officiating. Burial in St. John's Cemetery, West Street, Attleboro, will be private.
