Gertrude Florence Sullivan

Gertrude Florence (Smith) Sullivan, 80, of Attleboro, MA passed away peacefully at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence, Rhode Island on Monday, February 21, 2022. She was the wife of the late Francis Jeremiah Sullivan, Jr. who died in 2009.
Born in Attleboro, MA on Christmas Eve - December 24th, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Clarence Smith and the late Florence (Capuano) Smith. Other than a short residency in Taunton, MA, Mrs. Sullivan resided in the City of Attleboro almost her entire life. She was raised and attended Attleboro city schools.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Sullivan was employed as an assembler for Carlton Manufacturing in Central Falls, Rhode Island and at Texas Instruments in Attleboro.
She was a founding member of the Rehoboth Baptist Church in 1980.
Left to mourn her loss are her children: Kevin Michael Sullivan of Hudson, Florida; Francis Jeremiah Sullivan III of Boston, MA; Todd Daniel Sullivan of Attleboro, MA and Sean Patrick Sullivan of North Smithfield, Rhode Island; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; a brother: Robert "Butch" Smith of Pawtucket, Rhode Island and several extended family and friends.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation on Friday, March 4, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Funeral Service following visitation at 12:00 noon in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
Burial will follow in Oak Knoll Cemetery, Rehoboth, MA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
