Gertrude "Trudy" M. Mckeon

Gertrude "Trudy" M. (Stone) McKeon, 96, of Wrentham, MA, a former Attleboro resident and longtime resident of North Attleboro, MA, passed away on April 27, 2024, at the Alliance Health at Maples, Wrentham, MA.  She was the wife of the late James Joseph McKeon and the late Ervin Myers.
Born in Kittery, Maine on July 22, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin T. Stone and the late Persis Lois (Stubbs) Stone.
A dedicated and devoted homemaker, she was later employed as a secretary in a law firm for ten years prior to her retirement.
Trudy played the piano by reading music, loved to perform housework and enjoyed baking pies.
She leaves her daughter: Brenda Grahn and her husband, William Grahn, of South Attleboro, MA; her son-in-law: Robert J. McKeon, of North Attleboro, MA, husband of her late daughter, Lorna M. (Myers) McKeon who died on March 3, 2024, and Mark Myers in Florida; a stepdaughter: Sandra A. Gorman and her husband, Phillip Gorman, of The Villages, Florida;  four grandchildren: Kevin J. McKeon of North Attleboro, MA and his partner, Robyn Catarius, of North Attleboro, MA; Sean R. McKeon of Attleboro, MA and his fiancé, Melissa Brastow, of Attleboro, MA; Stephanie Gorman of Scottsdale, Arizona; Jeffrey Provost and his wife, Kristin (Fisher) Provost, of Marlborough, MA; 8 great grandchildren: Aidan, Colleen and Teagan McKeon;  Matthew and Ryan McKeon and Kelly and Kyle Provost and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
All services will be conducted privately in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home,161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.  Burial will follow in North Purchase Cemetery, Attleboro, MA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the North Attleboro Animal Shelter, 43 South Washington Street, North Attleboro, MA 02760, in honor of Trudy's love for animals.
The family would also like to thank the staff of the Alliance at Maples for their attentive care.
