Gerhard Kasmir Daday

Gerhard Kasmir Daday, 74, of North Attleboro, MA, formerly of Attleboro, MA passed away on January 24, 2024, at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA shortly following his admission.  He was the husband of the late Nancy Margaret (Hingston) Daday to whom he was married on April 14, 1973 and who died on July 6, 2005.
Born in Regen, Germany on April 30,1949, he was a son of the late Michael Daday and the late Theresia (Dirnberger) Daday.
He received his Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston.
Mr. Daday had been employed by FM Global prior to his retirement.  Previously, he worked for many years for C.B. Construction Company in Bristol, Rhode Island.
He was a member of the Rhode Island National Guard for six years.
He leaves his children: Gerhard "Jerry" K. Daday II  of Brownsburg, Indiana; Matthew P. Daday of Norfolk, MA and  Joseph M. Daday of North Attleboro, MA; five grandchildren: Nicholas and Adam Daday  both of North Attleboro, MA; Ewan and Emma Daday in Indiana and  Zoë Daday of Norfolk, MA and was the brother of  Helmut Dirnberger, Karl Daday, and Sonja Daday.
At his request services will be conducted privately and burial will be in North Purchase Cemtery where he will be laid to rest with his beloved wife, Nancy.
