Gerald Joseph Lacasse

Gerald "Jerry" Joseph Lacasse, 87, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away surrounded by his loving family at his residence on Monday, June 10, 2024. Jerry was the loving husband of Lorraine (Lorry) M. (Hughes) Lacasse to whom he was married in 1961.
Born in Fall River, MA on April 18, 1937, Jerry was a son of the late Joseph E. Lacasse and the late Irene (Mongeau) Lacasse. Raised in North Attleboro, MA, Jerry was a graduate of North Attleboro High School and earned his bachelor degree in business administration from Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island.
He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force having served from 1956 until his honorable discharge in 1960.
Jerry had a long career at General Motors starting in the Framingham, MA assembly plant until it closed.  Hetransferred to the Oklahoma assembly plant and was later promoted to GM headquarters in Detroit where he retired as a Senior Quality Engineer. While residing in Oklahoma, Jerry was a member of the Knights of Columbus.    After retirement, Jerry and his wife Lorry returned to the home they built in North Attleboro, MA.
Jerry was a communicant of the Transfiguration of the Lord Parish - St. Mark .
Jerry enjoyed summers on the ocean in Brant Rock, MA. He loved walking on the beach with his dog and spending time creating memories with family and friends.  He was the proud Pepe to 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was an avid Boston sports fan in particular the Patriots and Red Sox.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his children: Joseph Lacasse and his wife, Lisa (Whalen) Lacasse, of Waterville Valley, New Hampshire; Denise Wynn and her husband, Patrick Wynn, of Waterville Valley, New Hampshire and Gerald "Jeff" Lacasse  and his wife, Kristen Lacasse, of Milton, MA; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; and several extended family members and dear friends.
He was the father of the late Andrew Lacasse and brother of the late Claire Wentzell.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls,North Attleboro, MA followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 noon.
Burial with military honors will be private in St. Mary's Cemetery,Towne Street, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro,MA.
