Georgina Sanchez

Georgina Sanchez, 68. of Lincoln, Rhode Island, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023, at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence, Rhode Island.
Born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico on June 10, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Felipe Sanchez and the late Maximina Soler. She was raised and educated in Puerto Rico and moved to the United States mainland in August 1993.
When residing in her native Puerto Rico, Ms. Sanchez worked with children in the Head Start Services program. Since residing in Rhode Island, she was employed as a machine operator for Crest Manufacturing Company in Lincoln, Rhode Island for 17 years. She enjoyed the many friendships she had with her coworkers.
A woman of strong religious beliefs, she was an active member of the First Church of God on Elmwood Avenue in Providence, Rhode Island.
Ms. Sanchez, above all else, treasured her family, especially her cherished grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered for her love for cooking traditional Spanish dishes.
She was the devoted mother of Lizbeth X. Vargas of Woonsocket, Rhode Island; Dinay L. Vargas and her husband, Luis Vega, of Ruskin, Florida and Beatriz Vargas and her companion, Tony Vazfranco, of Manville, Rhode Island; nine grandchildren; one great granddaughter; her siblings: Maria Antonia Sanchez and her husband, Richard Torres, of Pawtucket, Rhode Island and Felipe Sanchez Jr. and his wife, Iris Abreu, of Pawtucket, Rhode Island and many nieces and nephews, extended family members, dear friends and countless coworkers.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Visitation on Friday, March 24, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA. A Funeral Service, officiated by Pastor Reinaldo Guerra, will immediately follow visitation at 6:30 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
The funeral cortege will commence at Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. to proceed to North Purchase Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. Only the most immediate family will have the opportunity to pay their final respects prior to joining the funeral cortege.
