George E. Walsh, 55, of Seekonk, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on January 10, 2014 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. He was the husband of Donna M. (Krzywonos) Walsh to whom he married on September 22, 1979. Born in Somerville, MA on July 2, 1958, he was a son of Rae (Gladding) Walsh of Attleboro, and the late George E. Walsh. Mr. Walsh was a graduate of North Attleboro High School Class of 1978. George was employed at Supercon/Anomet Products in Shrewsbury, MA doing Wire Drawing, for over eighteen years prior to his illness. He was known for his appreciation of the great-outdoors, as George enjoyed fishing, camping and riding dirt bikes. He also liked to play horseshoes and go to the casino. Family was very important to George as Walsh family gatherings were a weekly event. In addition to his wife of thirty-four years; he is survived by two daughters: Christine L. Ouimet and her husband Matthew R. Ouimet, of Attleboro; Stephanie R. Caswell and her husband Joshua R. Caswell, also of Attleboro; one sister: Debra R. Tucker, of North Attleboro; three brothers: Scott A. Walsh, of North Attleboro; Jeffrey T. Walsh, of Cumberland, RI; Eric P. Walsh, of Plainville and three grandchildren: Michael L. Coburn; twins-Madison M. and Matthew R. Ouimet, Jr. and another grandchild on the way. He also leaves several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 5:00-8:00 PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right, mile on the left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Children's room available during visitation and closing prayers. A Closing prayer immediately following, with Reverend Kelly Thibeault of the First Congregational Church in North Attleboro, will conclude the service. Burial will be private.
