George Herbert Seltsam

George Herbert Seltsam, 83, of Attleboro, MA passed away at his residence surrounded by the love and comfort of his family on March 8, 2025. He was the longtime partner of Cynthia J. "Cindy" (Gagner) Courcy.
Born in Boston, MA on September 19, 1941, he was a son of the late Fred Seltsam and the late Joan Marilyn (Davison) Seltsam. He was raised and educated in the Town of Foxborough, MA.
He was employed as a truck driver for many years prior to his retirement.
An avid sports fan, he particularly loved watching the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. In earlier years, he enjoyed golfing and was a member of the Moose Club in Attleboro for a short time.
He cherished the times spent attending his grandchildren and great grandchildren's sporting events and activities.
In addition to his companion and devoted partner, he leaves his siblings: Jean Elaine Seltsam of North Attleboro, MA; Joy Z and her spouse, Nancy, of North Attleboro, MA and Jason Davison of Manteca, California; his extended family: Arthur "Art" Joseph Courcy, Jr. and his companion, Wendy Blackinton, of Seekonk, MA and Deborah Ann Courcy of Attleboro, MA; two granddaughters: Heather Dennehy and her husband, Tim Dennehy, of Attleboro, MA and Heidi DeOliveira and her husband, Antonio "Tony" DeOliveira, of Attleboro, MA ; four great grandchildren: Antonio, Madison, Alexis and Gianna.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 2:00 pm until 4:00pm in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 4:00 pm immediately after the conclusion of visitation.
Burial will be private.
