George Hamilton Power, Jr.

George Hamilton Power, Jr., 85, passed away peacefully at Golden Living Center of Attleboro on Saturday, June 13, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Beverly (Harper) Power. Born in Harvard, MA on June 3, 1930, he was a son of the late George H. Power, Sr. and Isabel L. (Jamieson) Power. Mr. Power was employed for many years as an Engineer at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution in Woods Hole, MA. He proudly and honorably served our country as a Sargeant in the United States Army during the Korean War. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter, Leslie Power of NY; step-son, Jonathan H. Osborne of Burbank, CA; and many extended friends and family. Visitation has been respectfully omitted.
