George Palmer Lincoln Iii

George Palmer Lincoln, III, 90 of Attleboro, MA., passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at his home in Attleboro. He was the beloved husband of the late Doris Faye (Robison) Lincoln.

Born in Attleboro on July 17, 1934, he was the son of the late
George Palmer Lincoln Jr., and Doris Thersa (Yates) Lincoln.

After completing his first year towards a degree in Chemical Engineering, George volunteered to serve in the Army during the Korean War. Following his military service, he transitioned to a career as an Electrician, which he advanced and maintained to specialize in controls, refrigeration and automation until his passing. He was known for being the oldest licensed working electrician in Massachusetts. He also served as head deacon at Grace Baptist Church in Attleboro, New England Baptist Church in Bridgewater & Temple Baptist Church in West Bridgewater.

He is survived by his loving sons, George Palmer Lincoln IV of Foxboro, MA., and Tim Harvey Lincoln and his wife Ann Marie from Attleboro, MA. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, George Palmer “Sonny” Lincoln V., Heather E. Newcomb, Jeffrey Lincoln, Thomas Lincoln, Nicole Lincoln, Rebecca (Lincoln) Hartnett, and dear great-grandchildren, Laila Newcomb, Samantha Lincoln, George Palmer “Gunner” Lincoln Vl, and newest great-granddaughter, Aria Hartnett and devoted sisters, Doris “Dolly” Chesworth and
Harriet Spilsbury.

A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
