George Salvatore Dello Russo

George Salvatore Dello Russo, 94, of Attleboro, passed away on Friday evening, November 20, 2020 at the Attleboro Healthcare. He was the husband of Carol Jane (Pincins) Dello Russo to whom he was married on March 26, 1977.
Born in Boston, MA on March 9, 1926, he was a son of the late Carmen Dello Russo and the late Matilda (Reupucchi) Dello Russo. He was raised and educated in the East Boston neighborhood of the city and was a graduate of East Boston High School.
Prior to his retirement he was employed as a lab technician for Sun Chemical Company in Mansfield, MA for 35 years.
He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps having served honorably from August 1, 1944 to March 22, 1947 when discharged.
Mr. Dello Russo had been a resident of the City of Attleboro for more than 40 years.
He attended the Crossroads International Church, formerly known as the South Attleboro Assembly of God.
Mr. Dello Russo's favorite pastimes included working and tinkering around his home, performing yard work and gardening, particularly planting flowers. He will be remembered for great singing voice even until the very end.
In addition to his wife, he leaves three children: Donna Williams of Attleboro, MA; Steven Dello Russo of Foxboro, MA and Linda Sarni of Foxboro, MA; a stepson: Richard Dionne of Ohio; three grandchildren: Carissa Mason of San Diego, CA, Shaun Williams of Burrillville, RI and Jenna Sarni of Foxboro; four great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and dear friends
He was the brother of the late Ralph Dello Russo, John Dello Russo, Mary Dello Russo, Alice Salvatore and Helen Turco.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1:00 PM in Highland Memorial Park, One Rhode Island Avenue, Johnston, RI on Wednesday, December 2, 2020.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mr. Dello Russo's name may be made to Crossroads International Church - Assembly of God, 1052 Newport Avenue, South Attleboro, MA 02703.
