Gayle A. (Soule) Waldron

Gayle A. (Soule) Waldron, 70, of North Attleboro, MA; formerly of Stoughton, MA; passed away surrounded by her loving family on Christmas Day - December 25, 2022, at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island following a period of declining health. She was the adored wife of the late Peter J. Waldron who died on December 13, 2004.
Born in Boston, MA on March 14, 1952, she was one of two daughters born to the late Ralph G. Soule and the late Bertha J. (DeCoste) Soule. Raised and educated in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Boston, MA, she was a graduate of Hyde Park High School and later attended computer training school.
Mrs. Waldron was employed as a Vice President of Information Technology at State Street Bank in Quincy, MA for many years prior to her retirement.
While living in Stoughton, she was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church.
She enjoyed driving her motorhome to winter in Florida with her mother for many years. Her devoted sister, Janice, would travel down to Florida with them and visit for a week prior to returning to Massachusetts.
Trips to the casino and many hours shopping at BJ's Wholesale Club were among her favorite things to do.
She will be lovingly remembered for her generous spirit she graced unto others.
Left to mourn her loss are her sister: Janice Healey of Attleboro, MA; her nephew and niece: Darrin Healey and his wife, Melissa Healey, of Canton, MA and Laurel J. Healey of Attleboro, MA; her great nieces and nephews: Hannah E. Lynes, Alicia Healey, and Bryan Healey; her stepchildren: Kathie Ruby of Norton, MA and Janet Smally and her husband, Michael Smally, in Florida; her step grandchildren: Zachary and Nicholas Ruby and Amanda MacAskill and several extended family members and friends.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation on Thursday, December 29, 2022, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a graveside funeral service on Friday, December 30, 2022, at 10:00 am at St. Joseph's Cemetery, LaGrange Street. West Roxbury, MA.
An invitation will be extended to join the family for a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at a location to be announced.
