Gary Leroy Thell, 65, of Rehoboth, MA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA.
Born on July 21, 1953 in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late Leroy Elton Thell and the late Nona Marie (Joday) Thell.
A graduate of East Providence High School, Class of 1972, he then received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Bryant University in 1977.
Gary worked for many years in the travel industry as a Tour Director for Globus before retiring.
A funny and gregarious soul with a unique sense of humor, Gary loved being with people and cooking for them whenever he could. He excelled in cooking, gardening, and raising chickens.
He is survived by his sister, Sandra Thell, of South Yarmouth, MA.
