Gary David St. Angelo, 52, of North Attleboro, a native of Attleboro; died suddenly at his residence on Thursday, December 29, 2011. Born in Attleboro, Massachusetts on July 28, 1959, he was the beloved son of the late Joseph and Gloria (Travers) St. Angelo. He was a lifelong resident of the Attleboro/North Attleboro communities and attended Attleboro schools. He held various professional positions, most notably at Texas Instruments and Fuller Hospital both in Attleboro. He was mostly known for his contributions in helping others handle their sobriety. He was proudly a friend of Bill W. for the past nineteen years. The family and friends he leaves behind will always remember his kind spirit and his laughter. To all the people he helped maintain sobriety, he would want you to keep going strong and know that he is right there with you each step of the way. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching and playing basketball. One of his favorite teams was the Los Angeles Lakers. He leaves behind a son: Nicholas David St. Angelo of San Diego, California; brothers: Joseph St. Angelo and James St. Angelo and his wife Beverly, all of Attleboro; two nieces: Melissa Marston and Linsey Elderkin both of Attleboro; three nephews: Rocky St. Angelo of Providence, Rhode Island; Randy St. Angelo of Attleboro and Samuel St. Angelo of Attleboro and several extended family members and many dear friends. He was the brother of the late Pamela M. (St. Angelo) Elderkin. Burial will follow in St. Johns Cemetery, Attleboro. Childrens room available during visitation and the funeral service.
