Gail Marie Landry (Robichaud) 82, of North Attleboro, MA., passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 18, 2024.
Born on September 4th, 1941 in Pawtucket, R.I., she was the daughter of the late Ernest & Abigail (McKeown) Robichaud.
Gail obtained her nursing degree & served as an LPN at Sturdy Memorial Hospital for numerous years prior to her retirement.
She derived pleasure from being a Brownie and Girl Scout troop leader. She loved laughing and engaging in activities such as singing and dancing, knitting, crocheting, bowling and golf and was the president of her golf league.
She was known for her warmth and friendliness which landed her in the volunteer position as Greeter at Hillside Community Center, wherein she made newcomers feel comfortable and included. Gail loved with her whole heart and "a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck!"
She is survived by her loving daughters, Robin Landry of Deerfield Beach, Florida and Dionne Landry of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She is also survived by her daughter Sherri Simms, and grandson Morgan Simms, both residing on Cape Cod Massachusetts, and her sisters Diane Vanderhoof and Marilyn Bolaske. She was the sister of the late John Gary Robichaud.
Gail will also be greatly missed by her "lobsta" and car karaoke pal, Robert Cordoba and her lifelong, dedicated and loving best friend, Rita Giovino.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation on Monday, June 24, 2024, from 4:00 - 7:00 pm in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
The funeral cortege will begin on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at 9:15 am from the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrating her life and faith at 10:30 am at St. Martha's Church, 227 South Street, Plainville, MA 02762.
Burial will follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Pine Street, Centerville, MA., 02632.
