Gail Elizabeth (O'Malley) Brady, 63, of Attleboro, MA, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Attleboro Healthcare in Attleboro. She was the beloved wife and best friend of James Thomas Brady, to whom she was married on May 26, 1979.
Born on August 16, 1955 in Providence, RI, she was the loving daughter of Meredith (Cook) O'Malley of North Smithfield, RI, and the late Michael V. O'Malley.
A graduate of Central Falls High School, Gail received her Associate degree in Early Childhood Education from Community College of Rhode Island.
Gail was a resident of Attleboro for the past three years, having previously lived in North Attleboro for many years, where she attended St. Mark's Roman Catholic Church.
An avid reader who enjoyed watching movies, and dining out, Gail loved visits to Wickford Village and to the beach, especially at Colt State Park. She was an honorary member of the Old Colony Amphibians Dive Club, both well-liked and loved by all the club members. More than anything, she valued her role as a Homemaker to her cherished family with whom she truly loved spending time.
In addition to her husband, James, she leaves her loving children: Philip J. Brady of Whitman, MA, and Sheila A. Brady of Millbury, MA. Gail was the adoring grandmother of Parker P. Brady of Weymouth, MA, and the dear sister of Thomas O'Malley of North Smithfield, RI, and David O'Malley of Riverside, RI. She was predeceased by her late brothers, Glyn O'Malley and Dennis O'Malley. She leaves many dear friends.
