Frederick Earl Whittier

July 27, 1946 — January 31, 2022

Frederick Earl Whittier, 75, of North Attleboro, MA passed away unexpectedly at his residence on January 31, 2022.  He was the husband of Laurette Therese (Guilbault) Whittier to whom he was married on October 22, 1971.
Born in Foxborough, MA on July 27, 1946, he was a son of the late Harold Whittier and the late Hazel (Forrester) Whittier.  Raised and educated in Foxborough, he was a graduate of Foxborough High School.
Mr. Whittier was employed as a milling machine operator in the plastics industry for many years prior to his retirement.
He resided in North Attleboro for the past 40 years having previously resided in the City of Attleboro for 10 years.
Mr. Whittier was a former communicant of Transfiguration of the Lord Parish - St. Mary and later of Grace Episcopal Church.
A devoted New England Patriots fan, he also enjoyed freshwater fishing, playing the game "Risk" and was a dedicated chess player.
In addition to his wife, he leaves a daughter: Bernadette A. Whittier of North Attleboro, MA, and a granddaughter: Laura E. Whittier of North Attleboro, MA.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mr. Whittier's name may be made to the Hockomock Area YMCA, 300 Elmwood Street, North Attleboro, MA 02760.
