Frederick William Burns, III, 65, of Spruce Street, North Attleboro, died unexpectedly at his residence on Sunday, December 30, 2012. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on August 30, 1947, he was a son of the late James M. and Mary R. (O'Brien) Burns. He was raised in Attleboro and had attended Attleboro High School. Mr. Burns was a retired printer having worked for various printing companies throughout the years and had been at one time the owner and operator of the former Central Square Printing Company in Cambridge for many years. "Fred" as he was known to his family and friends, was a former member of the Massachusetts Beach Association, enjoyed motorcycling and going to "bike week" in New Hampshire, fresh water fishing with his grandchildren, salt water fishing and camping on Cape Cod. As an ardent outdoorsman, he was a member of the Wrentham Sportsmen's Club. He leaves three daughters: Rhonda A. Harris and her husband, Stephen C. Harris, of North Attleboro; Tricia M. Burns of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina and Stacy L. Brady and her husband, Derek R. Brady, of Attleboro; his grandchildren: Bryan S. Harris, Andrew C. Harris, Tyler J. Harris all of North Attleboro; Emma E. Brady and Nathan R. Brady both of Attleboro; his former spouse: Ellen M. (Tomlinson) Burns of Bourne and several extended family members and friends. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Friday, January 4, 2013 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM in the "Commonwealth Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on the left) Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.
