Franklin Silveira

Franklin Inacio Silveira, 56, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away at his residence surrounded by his loving family on Friday, December 5, 2025. He was the husband of Roxana (Ataucury) Silveira.

Born in Boston, MA on November 18, 1969, he was a son of the late Germano I. Silveira and the late Maria (Centeio) Silveira, both immigrants from Fogo, Cape Verde Islands.

He was employed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at Bristol Probate Court for thirty years having worked in a variety of capacities and most recently as Assistant Judicial Case Manager.

Mr. Silveira attended the Ocean State Church of Christ, Smithfield, RI. He jokingly said running was against his religion.

He enjoyed reading, playing chess and Wordle and enjoyed watching the Simpsons, Stranger Things and Game of Thrones with his children. He was a fan of Star Wars.

His family will lovingly remember his sense of humor.

In addition to his wife, he leaves his two children: Nathaniel I. Silveira of North Attleboro, MA and Sophia Margot Silveira of North Attleboro, MA; his siblings: Maria G. Silveira of Brockton, MA; Joao Teixeira of Portugal; Anna Costa of Hull, MA; Eugenia Montrond of Braintree, MA; Maria Conceicao Spiewakowski of Mansfield, MA; Maria Lucia Cabral of Marshfield, MA; Manuel Alfredo Silveira of Marshfield, MA; Frank Silveira of Randolph, MA and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, members of his wife's family and countless friends and colleagues.

Relatives and friends are warmly invited to attend Visitation on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA followed by a funeral service at 12:00 noon in the "Memorial Chapel".

Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery and Arboretum, Mount Hope Street, North Attleboro, MA.

Please omit flowers. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name and honor may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
