Frank H. Wojciechowski

December 8, 1945 — March 26, 2022

Frank Howard Wojciechowski, 76, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his cherished family on Saturday, March 26, 2022.  He was the beloved husband of Mary Elizabeth (Richards) Wojciechowski whom he married on August 24, 1968.
Born on December 8, 1945, in Attleboro, MA, he was the son of the late Frank J. Wojciechowski and the late Rose (Dupelle) Wojciechowski.
A proud lifelong resident of North Attleboro, he was a graduate of North Attleboro High School, Class of 1964 and received his Bachelor of Science degree in environmental science from the University of New Hampshire. Frank worked for many years as a health inspector and agent for the City of Attleboro and then the Town of Plainville, MA, before retiring 2012.
Frank had a true passion for the environment, the outdoors, for landscaping and landscape design, and for nature. He was the proud owner of F.W. Environmental in North Attleboro for fifteen years. He was instrumental in Mount Hope Cemetery being designated an official Arboretum by identifying tree species there. In addition, Frank purchased and planted over forty trees at Mount Hope during the past four years. Frank was a founding and integral member of the Board of Directors of Keep North Attleboro Beautiful, tirelessly working to improve and beautify public sites in his community of North Attleboro, also cleaning the local riverbeds and public areas. He was recently recognized by this organization for his unparalleled and extraordinary efforts and contributions.
Frank could often be seen carefully planting, mulching, trimming, and pruning both in his yard and areas in need of attention throughout his community. He believed that we each need to be caretakers of our environment both globally and locally and demonstrated this daily in the work he did, setting an example for all of us.  As a pastime, he also loved the Red Sox, the Celtics and the Patriots and rarely missed a televised game.
He also had an innate desire to help those in need and supervised individuals completing community service requirements through the Wrentham and Attleboro district courts. He was a longtime member of the Massachusetts Audubon Society, the National Audubon Society, the National Parks Conservation Association, and a donor to the North Attleborough Land Trust.
More than anything, Frank loved his family and friends and treasured spending quality time with them. He especially enjoyed the many cruises and vacations with his wife Mary and loved ones during their retirement.
In addition to his wife, Mary, Frank leaves his loving children: Traci Wojciechowski and her partner, Chad Spencer, of Pawtucket, RI; and Greg Wojciechowski and his wife, Rebecca (Hebert) Wojciechowski, of North Attleboro, MA.  He was the proud and adoring grandfather of Kylee Wojciechowski, Dylan Connell, and Brielle Hearon, and the brother of Gloria Jean LaCasse. He leaves his extended family and many, many dear friends.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation on Thursday, March 31, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
