Frank "Jerry" Jerome Cohen

Frank "Jerry" Jerome Cohen, 48, of Grew Avenue, Roslindale, MA, passed away of natural causes on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at his home.    Born on May 16, 1967 in Melrose, MA, he was the son of the late Paul I. Cohen and Louise (Giovino) Cohen.   Jerry graduated from Stoughton High School, Class of 1985, and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, from where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1990. A resident of Roslindale for more than thirteen years, he was employed as a Database Administrator at Ingenico Mobile Solutions, and previously as an SQL Developer with Senior Systems.   Jerry delighted in all things "Star Wars" and "Star Trek", was always intrigued by science fiction, and enjoyed collecting comic books. Above all, though, he loved his family and his many friends.   He is survived by his beloved sisters: Lisa A. (Horn) Marquardt and her husband, Paul D. Marquardt, of Atlanta, GA; and Caron L. (Horn) Heller, and her husband, Andrew J. Heller, of Attleboro, MA; seven nephews whom he adored: Daniel Loreck, Joshua Loreck, and his wife Amylynn Loreck, Evan Heller, Benjamin Heller, Matthew Heller, Alex Marquardt, and Grant Marquardt; and one special great niece, Joslynn Loreck.   He was the brother of the late Amy J. Loreck and Michael E. Horn. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Cemetery Chapel service and Graveside Funeral service on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at 10:00 AM in Lincoln Park Cemetery, 1469 Post Road, Warwick, RI with Rabbi Elyse Wechterman, officiating.
