Frank Joseph Ausiello, 58, of Old Wood Road, North Attleboro, was called to heaven suddenly on Monday, December 5, 2011 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. He was the husband of Linda F. (Ferrera) Ausiello to whom he was married on May 25, 1974. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on September 5, 1953, he was a son of the late Mildred (Williams) Leavitts, Frank Ausiello and Edward Leavitts. He was raised in Somerville and also spent many happy hours in Revere at the home of his grandmother, the late Florence (Geoaghan) Ausiello. Frank Ausiello was a man of great passion, faith in God, strength, courage and honor. Mr. Ausiello had a distinctive voice and worked in radio as a young man as Frank Solo at WOKW and WBET in Brockton. He was a graduate of St. Mary of the Annunciation High School in Cambridge. He studied at the Northeast Broadcast School in Boston, the American Institute of Banking, Bunker Hill Community College, Salem State College and earned an Executive Masters degree from Northeastern University. He worked in mutual funds and banking for many years. He was a Senior Vice-President of U.S. Trust Company of New York and Chase Bank. In recent years, he was employed by Citco Banking Corporation of the Netherlands and traveled extensively working in the Netherlands, Italy, Ireland and Curacao. He especially loved living in Cork with the warm people and beautiful landscape. Frank also enjoyed his friends and the Caribbean weather in Residencias Gaito. His greatest passions were his family, music, television, films and Disney World. He cherished seeing his girls perform and listening to his wife sing. He loved all kinds of music and could identify all the instruments and voices. He enjoyed bringing his family and friends to Disney World immensely especially EPCOT Center. Frank could do almost any work around the house and putting things together was his specialty. In addition to his beloved wife of 37 years, he leaves two daughters: Leigh Ellen Ausiello of San Francisco, California and Hope Marie Ausiello of North Attleboro. He was the brother of Robert, John and Timothy Ausiello and Cindy Mercogliano. He is also survived by his in-laws: Mark Ferrera, Mike, June and Marissa Roy and his grand-nephew: Joseph; his life-long friend, Michael Shields and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and friends. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Thursday, December 8, 2011 from 3:00 7:30 PM in the Commonwealth Chapel of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on the left) Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, December 9, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at St. Marks Roman Catholic Church, 105 Stanley Street (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, turn right onto Stanley Street in mile and travel to end of Stanley Street), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro with the Rev. Dan OConnell and the Rev. Thomas A. Frechette, Pastor, co-officiating. There will be no funeral cortege from the funeral home prior to the commencement of church services. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Towne Street, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Following cemetery services an invitation will be extended to join the family for a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at a location to be announced.
