Francisca Santos Green, 91, of Mansfield Avenue, Norton died on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at the Epoch Senior Health Care in Norton. She was the wife of the late Juan Delvalle. Born in Puerto Rico on July 13, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Abelino Santos and Isabel Green. She moved to Connecticut from Puerto Rico thrity years ago and relocated to Massachusetts 4 ½ years ago. While residing in her native land, Ms. Santos Green was employed as a factory worker in an electronics company. Since residing in the Attleboro area, Mrs. Santos Green was a communicant of the former St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church and more recently of the newly formed St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church in Attleboro. While living in Connecticut, Mrs. Santos Green was an active communicant and volunteer at Blessed Sacrament Church, Bridgeport, Connecticut. Her favorite pastimes included time spent creating lifelong memories with her family, nurturing flowers and plants and she had a lifelong love for birds. She leaves her children: George L. Ortiz in Connecticut; Bernard Ortiz in Florida; Angela I. Gonzales in Connecticut; Eiris Elsaburgos in North Carolina; Justin Rivera in Connecticut; Rosa Maria Procopio in Connecticut; Luz E. Ortiz in Puerto Rico; Maria V. Socia of Attleboro; Basilisa Ortiz in Florida; Carmen J. Ortiz of Attleboro; William J. Ortiz of Attleboro and Hilda M. Cabrera in Puerto Rico; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; two sisters: Lydia Santos in Puerto Rico and Antonia Santos in Puerto Rico; countless nieces and nephews and many extended family members and dear friends. She was the mother of the late Clemente Ortiz and was the sister of the late Samuel Santos and Crvzita Santos. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Thursday, July 24, 2014 from 5:00 -8:00 PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right, mile on the left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend the funeral service on Friday, July 25, 2014 at 8:45 AM from the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, North Attleboro followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Linden Street, Attleboro with the Rev.
