Francis Victor Verge, Jr.

Francis Victor Verge, Jr., 75, of North Attleboro, MA passed away on August 5, 2022, at Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Attleboro, MA. He was the husband of the late Kathleen Marie (Tanner) Verge to whom he was married on November 26, 1966, and who died on February 1, 2013.
Born in Attleboro, MA on April 15, 1947, he was the son of Dorothy Blanche (Wambolt) Verge of North Attleboro, MA and the late Francis Victor Verge, Sr.
Mr. Verge was raised and educated in North Attleboro where he was a graduate of North Attleboro High School. He remained a lifelong resident of the community.
He was employed by the former Foxboro Company as a welder for more than 30 years prior to his retirement.
Francis and his family were communicants of the Transfiguration of the Lord Parish - St. Mary, North Attleboro.
His favorite pastimes were creating woodwork projects such making cradles and toys for newborn children and donating them.
He was an ardent supporter of St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital and the Wounded Warriors Project.
As a native New Englander, Francis was a devout fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots.
In addition to his mother, he leaves his children: Lisa A. DuPlessis and her husband, Kerry DuPlessis, of North Attleboro, MA; and Elizabeth "Becky" Sirois and her husband, Joseph Sirois, of North Attleboro, MA; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a sister: Elaine Briggs and her husband, Harry Briggs, of North Attleboro, MA; his devoted caregiver and friend: Austin O'Keefe of North Attleboro, MA and several extended family members.
Public visitation has been respectfully omitted.
A private graveside service will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.
In lieu of flowers, Francis' family respectfully requests memorial donations in his memory be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
