Francis "Tommy" Thomas Petrillo, III, 38, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017. He was the beloved son of Francis "Frank" T. Petrillo, Jr. and Janet Marie (Burns) Petrillo, of North Attleboro, MA.Born on October 19, 1978 in Boston, MA, he was a graduate of Bishop Feehan High School, Class of 1997. Tommy attended the University of Maine at Presque Isle and Fisher College, and worked for many years as a Sales Representative for EMC Corporation in Maine. Raised in North Attleboro, he then lived and worked in Maine before returning to North Attleboro, where he was a member of St. Mark's Church.A talented athlete with a quick smile and warm heart, he loved spending time with family and friends, and when younger, with his late dog, "Lady". Tommy was Captain of both the Baseball Team and the Football Team at Bishop Feehan High School, and recipient of the Gary Flynn Memorial Award for football, recognizing his inspiring leadership, contributions, loyalty, and dedication. He was also a member of the school's track team, and as a youth, played baseball on Babe Ruth teams, and later for the University of Maine. Tommy enjoyed sports of all kind, played in bowling leagues, and was an avid Patriots fan. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his cherished children: Francis "T.J." T. Petrillo, IV; Nethanial P. Petrillo; and Julianna Olivia Petrillo; all of Oakland, ME; and Abby Morin of East Milbricket, ME. Tommy was the loving and beloved brother of Emily A. (Petrillo) Bastia and her husband, Jason Bastia, of Ludlow, MA; and James Michael Petrillo and his wife, Jennifer L. (Force) Petrillo, of Wrentham, MA. He was an adoring uncle, and leaves his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends, all of whom will forever miss him. Tommy was the former husband of Ratesha (Pilon) Petrillo of Oakland, ME, and the former companion of Samantha Morin of East Milbricket, ME. Friends and family are cordially invited to attend a Visitation on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend the Funeral Service on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 8:30 a.m. from the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, North Attleboro, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 14 Park Street, North Attleboro, MA.Burial will follow the Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, March 9, 2017 in the Mount Hope Cemetery and Arboretum, Attleboro Falls, MA.Children's room is available during the visitation and funeral service.Those in need of a local ride to the visitation may call the funeral home at (508) 695-0200 to make an advance reservation for such complimentary transportation.
