Francis Patrick "Butch" Sullivan, Sr., 56, of Seven Mile River Drive in Attleboro, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2015 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA. He was the beloved husband of Nancy J. (Snow) Sullivan. Born on June 14, 1959 in Boston, MA, he was the son of Edward Sullivan and Patricia (Burlone) Sullivan. A resident of Attleboro since 1999, Butch previously resided in Roslindale, MA. He enjoyed self-employment as a contractor, taking tremendous pride as a skilled woodworker. He also enjoyed motorcycles; but truly found his greatest source of pleasure in his family. In addition to his wife, Nancy, he is survived by his dear children: Francis Patrick "Butch" Sullivan, Jr., and his wife, Christine A. (Vassar) Sullivan, of Attleboro, MA; and Robert E. Sullivan of Attleboro, MA. He was the brother of Ricky Sullivan of South Boston, MA, and Edward "Eddie" Sullivan, and his wife, Barbara Sullivan, of Millis, MA. He also leaves his treasured granddaughter, Leah N. Sullivan, three years of age; several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends. Butch was the brother of the late Patricia (Sullivan) Guillette, Michael Sullivan, and James Sullivan. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Friday, December 11, 2015 from 12:00 Noon - 2:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, 3/4 mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.
