Francis "Frank" Gerard Cote, 72, of South Attleboro, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at his home with his wife at his side. He was the beloved husband of Catherine Ann (Brochu) Cote, to whom he was married on March 22, 1997.Born on April 5, 1943 in Attleboro, MA, he was the son of the late Maurice Cote and Rose (Boise) Cote. A resident of South Attleboro for more than twenty years, Frank previously resided in North Attleboro, MA. He worked for many years as a Delivery Driver for Santoro Oil Company before retiring.Frank was a man of deep faith, and was a longtime communicant of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Church in South Attleboro where he was a Eucharistic Minister. He was a member of the North Attleboro Elks Lodge No. 1011, and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, like his Honey Dew coffee; cars, especially Ford Thunderbirds; Elvis Presley; country music; and in years past, walking his two late dogs: "Cha-Chee" and "Bella". He was an ardent New England Patriots fan. Frank's greatest joy was being with his family: his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Catherine, Frank is survived by his dear children: daughters, Anne M. (Cote) Corneau and her husband, Marc A. Corneau, of South Attleboro, MA; Mary E. (Cote) Mador of Attleboro, MA; and Kerry L. (Cote) Skitt of Attleboro, MA; step-daughter, Bonnie J. Viera of Cranston, RI; step-daughter, Cheri A. Lemery and her husband, Frank Lemery, of West Warwick, RI; step-son, Thomas M. Viera and his wife, Lisa Viera, of GA; and step-daughter, Gina M. Capuano and her husband, David Capuano, of Coventry, RI. He leaves thirteen cherished grandchildren; three treasured great-grandchildren; his nieces and nephews; his sister-in-law Carolyn Wyatt and her husband, Fred Wyatt; brother-in-law Mark Brochu and his wife, Darlene Brochu; many friends, neighbors, and his extended family. . Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Friday, February 26, 2016 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, ¾ mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. from the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, ¾ mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Church, 18 Baltic Street, South Attleboro.Burial will follow in St. Stephen Cemetery, Attleboro, MA.A children's room is available during visitation and while the funeral cortege is being organized.Those in need of transportation to visitation may simply call the funeral home at (508) 695-0200 to make an advance reservation for such complimentary local transportation.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank's memory to: CVNA Hospice, 10 Emory Street, Attleboro, MA 02703.
