Frances "Fran" E. (DeNeneo) Rapoza, 83, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA.
Born in Dedham, MA on June 5, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Frank DeNeneo and the late Elizabeth Ethel (Watts) DeNeneo.
Fran received her Associate degree in nursing and worked as a Nurse in her younger years. She also worked for many years at Mason Box in North Attleboro before retiring.
A woman of faith, she was a longtime active communicant of Saint Martha Church in Plainville, MA, having attended church every Sunday.
A warm, caring, and outgoing woman, Fran was always willing to help others, loved nature and taking daily walks, and was active with, and a member of the Board of, the Circle Court Group. She had a love for all animals and held a special place in her heart for her beloved Cocker Spaniel, "Pike".
Fran is survived by dear brother, William "Bill" E. DeNeneo of Pawtucket, RI; her caring niece, Lynn A Crory of Attleboro, MA, and two dear nephews; many, many close friends and neighbors; and her extended family. Fran was the sister of the late Louise DeNeneo and was the former wife of Daniel Rapoza.
Her family wishes to extend their thanks and appreciation to Cynthia "Cindy" Booth, Fran's cherished friend, for all she did for her.
All services for Fran will be privately held.
