Ewa Maria Jedrychowska

December 25, 1938 — January 24, 2012

Ewa Maria Jedrychowska, (73), transferred to the Lord on the morning of January 24, 2012. Born in Poland on Christmas Day, December 25, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Jerzy and Elizabeth (Hebel) Jedrychowski. She resided in her native Poland until immigrating to Canada where she was educated and attended nursing school. She immigrated to the United States more than 40 years ago and settled in Norwood prior to moving to Foxboro many years ago. For more than 35 years, Ms. Jedrychowska was employed by the former Foxboro Company, now Invernys, and retired ten years ago as the Manager of Market Research. She had also taught C.P.R. to fellow employees of the company for decades. A deeply spiritual and religious woman, she was a longtime communicant of St. Marys Church in Foxboro where she served as Religious Education Teacher, Eucharistic Minister and was a leader and member of several prayer groups. Always considered the ray of sunshine in a group, she was very active in community affairs and events and was honored that the community reached out to her during her illness as she had reached out to the community for so many years. She will be lovingly remembered for all of the lives she touched and the memories created with her countless friends. Ms. Jedrychowska was a volunteer and treasurer for the Support Our Troops organization in the Northeast United States. She leaves her twin brother: Leslie J. Jedrychowski and his wife, Celine (Talon) Jedrychowski, of Thetford, Quebec, Canada; a niece: Kelly Jennifer Jedrychowski of Quebec, Canada; a nephew: Jean Leslie Jedrychowski of Quebec, Canada; two great nieces; three great nephews and countless friends. She was the sister of the late John Jedrychowski. Visitation has been respectfully omitted. Relatives and friends are cordially invited a Mass of Christian Burial in Celebration of Her Life and Faith on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 9:00 AM at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Foxboro. Burial will be private. Following church services an invitation will be extended to join the family for a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at the church.
