Everett Wendell Wilshire, 74, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Garden Place HealthCare in Attleboro.
Born on April 14, 1945 in Nashua, NH, he was the son of the late Leon Wilshire and the late Adelia (Pearl) Blades.
Raised and educated in Nashua, Everett worked for thirty years as an Oil Truck Driver for Petro Oil Company and Dwyer Oil Company before retiring. He proudly and honorably served our country in the United States Navy.
A resident of North Attleboro for more than forty years, he enjoyed antique automobiles, was a member of a car club, and liked playing cribbage.
He was the loving father of Scott E. Wilshire of Pascoag, RI; the proud grandfather of Andrew S. Wilshire, Sarah M. Wilshire, and Amanda C. Nelson; and the adoring great-grandfather of Evan Nelson and Dylan Nelson. Everett leaves his sister, Lori Wilshire, of Nashua, NH, and was the brother of the late Elliott Elwin "Shy" Wilshire. He is survived by several nieces and nephews, and was the former husband of Wanda A. (Marshall) Mucciaccio of Attleboro, MA.
Friends and family are cordially invited to honor and remember Everett by gathering for a Memorial Visitation with Veteran's Honors on Monday, December 9, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, followed by a Funeral and Celebration of Life Service at 6:00 p.m. at Dyer-Lake Funeral Home. Full Military Honors will immediately follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Everett to a charity of one's choice to benefit a Veteran's organization.
