Evelyn Alice Jaron

Evelyn Alice (Charron) Jaron, 99, of South Washington Street, North Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at the Golden Living Center - Attleboro. She was the wife of the late Robert Jaron who died in May 1985. Born in Attleboro, MA on March 27, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Isaac and Leah (LaFayette) Charron. Mrs. Jaron resided in North Attleboro since 1996 after returning to Massachusetts from San Diego, California where she had resided from 1980-1996. She was employed as a supervisor for Alice Jewelry in Providence, RI for 25 years prior to her retirement in 1978. Following her retirement, Mrs. Jaron was a supervisor for the House of Michele, Inc. that was founded, owned and operated by her husband. A woman of strong religious convictions, Mrs. Jaron was a devoted communicant of St. Mark Roman Catholic Church, Attleboro Falls. She had an appreciation for flowers, enjoyed playing bingo and enjoyed numerology and horoscopes. Mrs. Jaron leaves three children: Roberta A. Jaron of North Attleboro; Joyce M. Specht of South Attleboro and Denis M. Jaron of Las Vegas, Nevada; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; four generations of nieces and nephews and extended family members and many dear friends. She was the mother of the late Steven E. Jaron and was predeceased by all of her siblings: Florence Mercier , Gerard Charron and his twin, Arthur Charron, Isabelle Whitney and Oscar and Cora Charron in their infancy. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Thursday, May 28, 2015 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Mark Roman Catholic Church, 105 Stanley Street, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro with the Rev. Thomas A. Frechette, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be private. There will be no funeral cortege from the funeral home prior to the commencement of the Funeral Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's selection.
